Auriga Spa Singapore Review

Whilst holidaying in Singapore I wanted to treat myself to a high-end spa to bliss out, but also for a little bit of research for my own business. I find there’s always something to learn from or make a mental note of for the future, and it’s a very nice way to do so :)

After perusing Auriga Spa’s treatment menu online, their imagery and descriptions made me instantly relaxed. I could tell they focus on the small details, as I do too!

I spent around four hours in the spa homed within the luxurious Capella Singapore, on the tropical Sentosa Island. It did feel like quite the oasis as I had the whole bathing area to myself using the vitality pool, herbal steam room, experience showers and pale of freshly shaved ice to rub on my skin (getting the cold exposure benefits in a gentle way) before my massage.

The peaceful treatment room had it’s own private outdoor garden and I settled in quickly to my 2hr Senja Sunyi massage. I’d never had this style of massage before but was intrigued upon booking as it combines many Asian techniques like hot stones, pressure points with stretching and long flowing strokes. The oils felt premium, the sequence was rejuvenating and the hot stones were a nice touch - something I think you’ll see pop up on Touch Body Mind’s services in the future.

Afterwards there was absolutely no rush implied as I spent time reflecting in the spa’s lounge with complimentary herbal tea and snacks before making my way back to the Aesop stocked bathroom to shower, re-dress and float into the rest of my day.

I loved this experience and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a boujee spa, with talented therapists and excellent facilities in Singapore.
