My Lymphatic Drainage Style

My Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Style…

Although I’m trained in a couple of methods of Lymphatic Drainage (vigorous and non) I tend to take a gentle and rather rhythmic approach to your treatment.

If I come across an area that’s restricted due to fascia or muscle tightness, I do weave in Remedial techniques and or Cupping to release and allow your Lymph to flow more freely. I’d say this is what sets my treatment apart from a Lymphatic massage at a spa.

Most people find my MLD style super relaxing. We usually start with some breath-work to activate your diaphragm and help propel the Lymph from your lower body up towards your Lymphatic ducts at your collar bones (this is the point of return to your venous/cardiovascular system). And then start with the neck and chest as most of your lymph nodes are found there.

As with all my services, it is fully customisable. If for example you’re puffy in the face and abdomen due to high cortisol or a food sensitivity I focus my attention there, and if your thighs are carrying more fluid due to a sedentary lifestyle I focus there. But generally I like to treat the whole body, even if it’s just a couple of mins on the area outside of your concern. As we want your entire Lymphatic System to speed up, so you get the most of your treatment and longer last results.
